'Twas a fine Monday morning and as the usual, I prepped myself up for school, catching up with my requirements when my friend texted me, "Oh my gosh! Sir Gingging of the Criminology Department was shot this morning! DOA at Dr. Uy Hospital!" And his face flashed back at my mind for who my friend was referring to since I'm a business student and never did I have a chance to be under his class.
Rest In Peace, Sir Judiely G. Gingging
He was shot somewhere in talipapa, Tubod just a few kilometers from ours. I know during that moment the street was busy since it was still around 8 in the morning and I know for sure there were a lot who witnessed the incident. But how could anyone just watch the whole incident and haven't done anything and knowing the fact that the Police Station was just nearby?
Is this the real face of our city today? Is this how Iligan can be so unsafe? Not to mention the recent kidnappings that had happened.
Sir Gingging had a son, and he will never grow up with his father again.
JUSTICE. WHERE ARE YOU? We strongly appeal to the local government to take actions.
